Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Considered the most entertaining walk during a visit to this city, you have to consider several hours to not only explore, but also enjoy and relax with the natural and well-designed view of its parks, buildings and surrounding nature.
The good: almost everything. Spaces, places to photograph, museum, sculptures, duck and swan lagoon. Everything well taken care of.
The bad: I didn't find anything bad during the walk.
The ugly: perhaps, for those who are sensitive to politics, some scratches on campus. But, we must not forget, we are within a University, where, without a doubt, different thoughts must be accepted.
In short, an excellent place to meet, take photographs, walk and relax.

Nice place. It is the first university campus open to the public that I know of. It has several places inside that are worth seeing, such as the lagoon where there are black cello swans, sculptures and even a whale skeleton!

This is a beautiful open campus, that contains parks, sculptures and museums (the "casa del arte" houses the largest collection of paintings in the country, outside of Santiago). During the weekends on spring and summer, you can see many families and their pets walking around the campus or enjoying the cultural shows on the forum, next to the clock tower that is also a symbol of the city.

Founded in 1919, The University of Concepcion is one of the oldest university campuses in Chile. Entering through the Arco de Medicina (Medicine's arch) you will be placed centrally in direction to the center of the campus. I recommend you to visit the Campanil de la Universidad (Campanile structure) located in front of the forum. The place is big, so be careful to not get lost inside it.

It is a must of you visit the city.

Its Art House is the home of a mural painting " presencia de America Latina".

The arch of medicine offers a great entrance with the campanile tower clock at the bottom.

Nice campus better to be visited a weekday to feel the ambience full of students.

First of all, The main reason why I came to this place was because of my dad, I thought he studied in here and turns out he DIDN'T . He studied at the Bio Bio's University
Anyway, I came here by a mistake but still was a great moment. All the green, all the colors, seeing hummingbirds there so free and cared for.
Like in Santiago people freak out when they see them cause they are so special. But in Concepcion was so natural that made me feel so good
If you love nature much as I do.
Please go.

A University that works as a precision instrument: nice campus, administration that works very well, good quality research, good reputation. With theaters (an open air and another in the city center), a "Pincoteca" that contains several exhibitions, many cultural activities (for example, opera stagings of which I am a fan), a campus that is a gathering place for all citizens during the weekends. A University that fulfils its purpose to the fullest.

It is full of wonderful pieces of art and architecture. It has also some high hills you can climb and the education there is absolutely excellent. I recommend to visit it and also study there.

Considered as a cultural monument, this place is one of the most spacious and beautiful public spaces in the whole city, where you can observe the daily life of the penguin and its students, a journey of several hours, without visiting the lagoon of the ducks, Library, forum, clock. Ideal to go with pets and friends.

Pleasant campus full of cheerful students, all the net. Wonder if they could do original research? Campanile 's bells replaced by loudspeakers 📢 so not a true campanile. Generally well kept up. Lots of good cheap student food. Classrooms worn.
