The metro was clean, not too busy (I used it at different times on a Thursday), and easy to use. I went to an automated ticket machine, and chose English. You can basically choose between a normal ride and a Gold ride (I think that...More

We decided to give this a go after having spent a fortune on taxis on our previous visit. The information board was easy to use and we decided to get a one day pass which let us use The Metro and The Trams for approximately...More

Very organized , clean and easy to navigate. You'll save a lot of money using the metro system. Just know that there are designated areas for women and children only.

Clean, safe affordable. Many tourist places were not accessible but if you get there atleast half way by metro and the remaining by taxi you can save time and money. Hopefully Dubai will have more metro to venues soon.

Somewhat painless to use during my week-long trip there. If you are travelling during peak hours, I would recommend paying a little extra for the 1st Class ticket. Although you might not get a seat, the 1st Class Carriage tends to be quieter and less...More

The Dubai Metro is very clean and efficient. We were able to reach some of the sites using the Metro system. There are attendants to assist and direct you. The fares are reasonable as well

Signle journeys cost 6 AED per trip, which is far cheaper than getting a cab down town. Traffic is also very busy between 4 - 8 pm and its much quicker to use the metro. It does get busy at peak times

The Dubai metro is not underground but upperground which is better because you can admire the beauty of this city every time you take the metro. It is cheap and very comfortable. Very good the idea of separating men from women on the metro. Men...More

I do not know. We had only a day pass. The ticket agents are very helpful and may be able to guide you on the best choice.

Dubai is effectively and efficiently planned. Hopping from a bus stand to the metro is a stone's throw. It saves one from the desert heat. The EMIR cares for his people.
