The best way to arrive to the Dubai Souks is by Abra. It's so nice to take the boat over the creek and then dive into all the little shops in the Souk.

Abra ride RTA is one of the best and combinations of 2 souks in 1 Place. Abra ride is connection between Burdubai Al Bastakia Souk and Deira Souk. Only for 1 AED. Which is accessible for everyone. Highly recommendable place.

The Gold Souk bedazzles. The Spice Souk heavenly wafts that make you want to cook. The hustle and bustle and colour is exciting and a must see in the Old City.

If you mean crossing the creek on one of the passenger boats, I say yes. It is safe because stepping on and off the boat is easy without any jumping or climbing involved. Once on board you can sit down. The ride is not bumpy... More
