A nice way to get a feeling of the Deira district is to walk from the Deira shopping Mall to Al Rigga Metro station. Underway you will pass among others the Deira Clock Tower, which is an icon for the Deira neighbourhood.

Deira Clocktower, originally referred to as the Dubai Clocktower, is a roundabout in Dubai. It is landmark place for whoever travelling first time to Dubai. Nothing special just a clock on a roundabout. During night time amazing view with colored water fountain water flash.

The clock tower itself is nice looking with an interesting design, but to say it is an attraction is an overstatement. You don’t put Deira Clock Tower on your to do list when in Dubai. If you are in the Al Rigga area, there is...More

I passed here so many times and didn't even realize that this is an "attraction" - I mean, I was stuck in traffic when I first saw it and commented, "oh, cool feature for a clock" then later was told it was an actual attraction....More

This isn’t something I would go out of my way to see. It’s in the middle of a roundabout and isn’t anything spectacular and doesn’t have an interesting history or anything. It’s not a point of interest to travel to specifically to see.
