i was transit at the mosque before leave makkah. the mosque was unique and from far its looks floating. the mosque was not big as other mosque in saudi but most people come here to see the so called floating mosque.

Jeddah's one of the iconic landmark in floating masjid. Ideal time to visit this place is evening. Evening sea breeze will give you freshness. Located in Jeddah corniche. Nice place to spend time with family.

Mosque built on concrete stilts which gives the illusion that the building is on water. It looks really beautiful during the day contrasting itself against the blue sea an d blue skies. A must stop for pilgrims during the umrah or hajj period.

It is a beautifully built mosque on a lagoon of Red Sea. Not too big and not too crowded. Men and women can offer their prayer separately. Sunset from this mosque is beautiful

I was disappointed by this. Reviews made it sound like it was impressive. It's not. "Seems to emerge from the sea" - nope. it's a Mosque on concrete pylons in a few feet of water on the shore. It's not even close to Hasan II...More
