This is fast and best option. It is very cheap - around 10 Riyals and it is value for money. Must try.

There are several ways to go to Makkah by Taxi. You can use Uber or Careem applications or take a ride from Makkah Gate where all Taxi stop there or you can take Taxi from airport

10 Riyal to go to Masjid Al Haram with a fast and furious Saudi driver. He is carrying mammals on board not real people. I felt that way. Windows were open at 120Kmh. I got sick that night.

There are certain spots in Jeddah from where you are getting easily the transport for Umrah in cheap price. However taxi is ready to go to Makkah to transport the people for Umrah. During the Ramadan, it costs little more.

Hi Thahirchishti, I have taken a taxi from Mecca to Jeddah, it costed SAR200. That was in Feb 2015. Not sure about the current rate.
