Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The same scenario in Bihac and other cities in Bosnia that all mosques open only for pray at certain time. Visiting a wonderful place like this one will turn to be an exterior view only. Few cemetery can be seen nearly.

it was also recomended by Tourist Information Office, where they are really professional and nice!!! A must visit place in Bihać but be careful about time - do not visit about 12 when they pray. You can see also that it was damaged in last war. It is worth also to see Gradska tržnica (City market hall) at a site. And do not miss little Pitara on Trg maršala Tita (Marshal Tito squer) - he has the best burek and pita in town!

This 1592 take over addendum on gothic church is an exercise in history. It serves a historic purpose allowing us to comprehend the concept of transfer and liturgic modification. Most interesting and charming

With the arrival of the Turks, St. Anthony of Padua's Church is being rebuilt into the main mosque in the city of Bihać, Fethija (translated - won). Rich History the mosque of Fethija is one of the most preserved sacral buildings in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The mosque is open for visits only during prayer.

The reconstruction to make this originally Gothic church into a mosque ruined a lovely structure. It would have been better if the mosque had been built somewhere else, or the church torn down and a mosque built on the site.

As all of the other reviews state, the mosque is important for its historical and cultural significance. However, it also never seems to be open for visits. Still, this structure is emblematic of BiH as it was built as a church and then turned into a mosque shortly after the Ottoman conquest though it still clearly looks like a church. It's interesting for a quick visit.

You may as well visit the mosque (what else will you do in Bihac ?) From the outside windows it is clear that it started its life as a catholic church, to which a minaret was added later. Inside it is fairly bland.

It is a simple mosque with an interesting historical story. Other than that is it not very special. But the entire surrounding is interesting.

This is a very interesting mosque due to its unusual history. Unfortunately, it was closed during our visit, so we could not visit the enterior.
