We did the whole city wall, it was scenic, historic, heart wrenching. To hear about the city being shelled in the 90’s was so sad. You could see how many new clay roofs there were. The sea views are breathtaking. I highly recommend this walk.

It would be a shame to visit Dubrovnik and not walk the ancient city walls. The views of the city and seaside are great. Allow plenty of time to stop and look especially if you visit during a busy season. Savor the views of the...More

A visit in the morning to avoid the crowds and heat is a big recommendation. Be prepared to walk up and down stairs to get to all around the walk. A great way to get a view from above of the old town.

Just outwith the city walls you can climb up steps and get a comparably great view. There’s also the cable car and a high coastal road that can be driven to.
