To our surprise Elmer's Store was turned into a restaurant 20 years ago. We got there about 11 am while breakfast was being served. Smelled and looked real good. A few artifacts are still on display and the woman we spoke with was very cordial.

A delicious and varied breakfast menu (and awesome pancakes!) in a fun, local and authentic setting. The new owners, Andreas and Florencia, are keeping things as before while adding new touches. Loved it.

A group of us went to the Elmers store because we had coupons from our stay across the street at Norton Hill B&B , (see my 1 start review) . It was OK and nothing to go our of your way for.

Eggs over cooked, pancake batter not stirred so as to get a mouthful of baking soda, menu much more appealing than actual meal. Sorry to burst anyone's bubble as Elmer's looks quaint and all, but I am a local and considered our meals a rip...More

We loved the french toast and the witty menu. Definitely try this place if you are looking for a smaller, home-town feel for a breakfast spot. Delicious!

The restaurant front window sill was covered with dead bugs and a daddy long legs crawling around. Hash Brown's were boiled red potatoes with their skins and then smashed and rewarmed on the grill (no onions)! Ordered coffee and was never offered a refill. The...More

My experiences have been much more positive than SazzyCat's recent post. We've been to breakfast several times. I actually prefer the Saturday breakfast menu over the Sunday version (more offerings). We've also gone up for dinner once, and had a great meal. Only downside? It's...More
