I'm visiting all of the Trustees locations. This one was a bit less clearly marked than some. We got a bit turned on the Beaver brook trail. Nice woods and scenic pond.

I went here with a birding group. The hike was short but the pond area was fabulous. It was great to see newts and salamanders in the pond as well as little fish.

As we entered the hiking path off the road we heard a crash and saw 2 black bears hurrying down a tree a hundred feet ahead of us. They went one way and we went the other.
