This was the best museum, as far as we are concerned. Overflowing with history like an Aladdin's Cave, you need to allow time to see it all. Thank you to the owner for sharing all this history.

The amount of information that was available was fantastic. Very friendly lady runs this museum and a lot of the information had been compiled and cataloged by her late husband. You could definitely spend half a day here and right across the road from the...More

This is a collection of one man over many years. It's truly remarkable. It would benefit hugely from being in a better building - it was very hot and humid when we were there. The collection really needs to be culled and upgraded as it...More

This private museum is a must explore for those fascinated in the history of Norfolk Island. Each of the five rooms captures different experiences. Don't be fooled by its unassuming exterior.

We spent 2 hours quietly browsing through this unique museum which crams in a vast collection of items reflecting the Second and Third Settlements. Very educational for those wishing to know more about those eras. The items and topics are diverse and informative. It is...More

Although this establishment had plenty to see and had many Bounty artifacts, it seem to be more a "bric a brac" museum full of "old wares" from past generations. That said, it did have good research facilities. We thought it needed a good clean up...More

The "Bounty" Folk Museum has been open for several years and - perhaps uncharitably - shows it at times. That said, there are some interesting bits and pieces to be seen here. In contrast to some reviews here, which seem to be of a different...More
