If you cycle, ride it. If you're a runner, run it. However you enjoy it get out there!! It's beautiful, gives you great views of the canal and the city, and has attractions in its own right: biomuseo, restaurants, punta culebra nature center.
The causeway attaches the four islands made while dredging the Panama Canal to Panama City. It also acts as a breakwater for the Canal. There are condos, shops, restaurants and marinas on some of the islands.
