Once you will be in Lavra, you can come to this memorial, which is across of street. It is a quite place to sit and to rest. The memorial reminds the not so far history of the country and the USSR.

this was not a place for the friendly folk, everywhere you go you hear gun shots, explosions, and Taliban just ruin your day of seeing these wonderful masterpieces although it was rather interesting to read all
