If you enjoy the hustle and bustle of food and produce markets (with some non-food stalls thrown in along the way) then it would be hard to beat the 'Ladies' Market'. We visited it a couple of times and enjoyed walking its length.
God forbid you wish to buy fruit or veggies and pick it yourself!!!! It isn't going to happen! They adamantly REFUSE to let you pick your own products.

If you are looking to find some local vegetables, fruits or meats there you are. Some souvenir shops with chocolates and other stuff also located in this Bazar.
Some cheap clothes and accessories also available there but don't imagine something fancy!

We entered the market at the southwest corner of Lion’s Gate and walked though it all. It was full of people, fresh and delicious produce and local shoppers. We were probably the only tourists there on a Monday morning. Definitely recommend!
