In my opinion this isn't a museum but a photo gallery that tells a story. With that being said it was a very informative way to spend a couple of hours looking at the pictures and watching the films. I had been in Sarajevo many years previously and had heard of the Srebrenica massacre but seeing the pictures and hearing the audio commentary about what occurred and the incidents that lead up to the killings and the aftermath were very powerful. I would highly recommend spending the extra 4 KM (16 total to get in) for the audio guide.…

This small museum does an excellent job of showing man's inhumanity to man during the war in the 1990s. The audio guide is necessary in order to understand the poignant photographs displayed. Be sure to budget enough time to sit through the entire series of videos being shown. The stories of the wives and mothers are heartbreaking.…

This important exhibition is a must see anyone wishing to look beyond the surface to the sorrow that lies at the heart of the Bosnian experience and the nation's history. Galerija is the first of it's kind - a memorial gallery to preserve the memory of those who perished in the Srebrenica masacre - all 8372 of them. The exhibition features a range of multi media content to guide the visitor - backed up with an informative audio guide in several langages and is a must see.…

This was a very moving gallery. I have to say I knew little of the Massacre beforehand and left feeling quite informed which I wasn’t expecting from an art gallery. I actually didn’t pay for the audio guide and while I am sure it would enhance the experience, I didn’t feel I missed out, but it was the computer map and documentaries that gave the photos context so I would take the time to interact with them (maybe skim the computer map - profound, but it would take I think 1-2 hours to listen to every part, it took me approx 30-40 minutes to listen to information about the first five days - however I was amazed at what I learned). Moving, confronting, this was one of the most amazing things we did in Sarajevo.…
