Thought we would check out the food trucks after a recommendation from a local. Tahiti generally expensive but the food trucks proved to be great value. Food was excellent and the service was well organised. Relaxed atmosphere with plenty of locals enjoying themselves. No alcohol...More

We had dinner and enjoyed it but the food was average. We were expecting better and a wider variety and so were disappointed overall. It maybe because we went on a Monday that there wasn’t the choice.

Tahiti is expensive. However Les Roulettes is a cheap and easy option, particularly if you are feeding kids. They offer a variety of different styles of food from French to American and to Chinese. Highly recommended.

All the trucks here are mostly serving the cruise ship folks but the taste, cooking and local atmosphere are worth the trek from your hotel. Meals cost average 1800-2500 XPF so its way cheaper than hotel or even some restaurant fare, but it’s the scene...More

We got here early so we sat in the park and watched the trucks set up. First let me say, it wasn't like the food truck experience we're used to. These are, literally, mobile restaurants. They take the time to set up tables and chairs,...More

Sorry no longer in Papeete but if you ring Tourist Information Office in town they are very helpful and would most likely know or be able to find out for you, you could try calling or emailing them :) Happy christmas!

It's quite a way and as the roulettes start at 6pm it would be dark. Maybe 7or 8kms away. Best would be to get a taxi or your resort might have a tour to go. The road and being nighttime would really not be suitable for you... More
