Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fairly short/easy walk heading towards Albert Park & Botanical Gardens sits this historic building, more so a courthouse.
I had my own private tour, sort of by several security personnel couldn't have been nicer to show me around, past the clock tower, not really visible from the front into an actual Parliament chamber or a fancy court room.

We drove by the Government House but did stop at the entrance of the State House. At the State House is a guard that everyone likes to get a picture of. Unfortunately there isn't much else I can say about these two places.

This 1930’s government building houses the parliament along with other state ministries. The striking statue outside is of Sir Lala Sukuna. It is, according to their website, open to the public but needs to be arranged in advance.

Hey, if this is your capital building, put some money into it to make it a source of pride. I don't know if you can visit, but the exterior is not very inviting.

Parliament building is very old but a beautiful building in Suva city next to Albert Park. I am not aware if you could go inside. But you must at least see this.

Stopped in Suva on a cruise. Walked the town and saw the Parliment of the Republic of Fiji with the clock tower. They call it Big Ben.

This has been included in our SUVA DAY TOUR as one of the MUST see sights!!! There is actually NOTHING exciting nor unique about this sight. The Parlinment buildings pales when compare to other Parliament Buildings Globally. The architecture is just a block of building with NO outstanding features !!! Wonder why the tour agent insisted this is one of the BEST sights in SUVA; reckon there are no other better sights to show the tourists !!! Well, visit it just for the exposure and experience of SUVA, FIJI !!!

Our trip into Fiji's capital was Government building. We didn't get to go inside because it was a Sunday but it was nice to view from the outside.
Everything is close by Albert Park, The Grand Pacific hotel(must see), Fiji museum (closed on Sunday), Thurston park (not worth it) and Government house (only photos from the road!).

Visited Suva and stayed at the GPH. We saw these beauties everyday leaving the hotel. Fiji has come a long way from when I used to visit as a child. Look forward to returning!

Art Deco in the South Seas is an unexpected find, but a welcome one at that. As it is still a functioning government building, this is a purely look, don't touch destination.
