About
Sigavou Studios is a family-run enterprise built up around original art created by award-winning local artist Maria W. Rova. Our new Waqavuka Road location encompasses the art studio and a brand new gallery showroom. Our "Colours of Fiji" studio tours launch in June 2023. Participants can spend a morning immersed in a creative hub that has a celebration of Fijian culture, colour and environment at its heart! We believe that there’s a spark of creativity in each of us waiting to be rediscovered, and invite you to join us in giving your inner artist some playtime!

Wonderful staff and such a great concept. The two Maria’s and their families are very welcoming. Many nice things to look at and it was great to see some artists at work. The service was exceptional and packaged my items very carefully so I could check-in the package at airline. Visit by appointment only but very accommodating when I rang on the day. Location is more in the industrial area near the airport - if getting a taxi/driver to location - tell them its near the Red Brick laundry for easy navigation. I look forward to visiting again.

What a wonderful way to spend the morning. Mrs Rova and the team are so talented and it was an absolute blessing to spend the morning learning about their blend of traditional and contemporary art. A must do when in Nadi whether for family or team building exercises. Wishing the whole team all the best.

Sooooo interesting especially the tour about Masi making! And then we got to make some beautiful art taught by a great teacher and take it home. We made some friends and learnt a lot. I want to bring my kids back here to do this experience they will live it.

We spent an incredible afternoon at Sigavou Studios in Nadi. This family run studio gives a glimpse into traditional Fijian art methods while also incorporating new techniques. Absolutely beautiful artwork this is alive with colour and can be purchased. I love finding those unique art pieces when I travel and it was hard to narrow down to just one piece.
They are looking to offer travellers that local experience and we were privileged to partake in painting our own reusable bags and the kids loved the spin painting and seeing how the colours came together.

We loved hosting your family group for an afternoon of fun at Sigavou Studios! The delight on the children's faces as they created their art pieces was memorable. And the tote bags you all painted were pretty impressive too!

Excellent art gallery with local made art. You can purchase direct from their studio or prints from outlets in Fiji - highly recommend and hope you support local artists

While the location is a bit obscure, in an industrial area adjacent the airport, don't let this put you off. The gallery has stunning artworks, many of which you'd see in some of the more up-market resorts in Denarau. They truly capture the spirit and characteristics of Fiji in a contemporary style.
The artists collaborate to produce stunning artwork using barkcloth 'canvas', made from the fibres of native mulberry trees, laboriously worked and layered to create truly authentic fabric on which these artworks are created. The care and passion for their art is evident!
The gallery is about to launch an interactive experience for tourists and visitors to become involved in creating their own masterpieces. A great idea, and one that will possibly tap into skills not yet discovered!
Make the effort to go, take in the experience, buy some paintings.........you'll help create a thriving cottage industry that is heavily invested in giving back to the local community.

What a fabulous experience! My daughter and I were warmly welcomed and it was a great experience for some of us not so artsy people! The staff were extremely attentive and knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour to anyone!
