Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Highly recommend. Went as a couple. Booked online which included private hotel transfer from Denaru resort. Professional setup. Guide took lots of photos while we got our mud on as well as in the springs. Pregnant wife couldn't stay long in the hot springs but still enjoyed. Bonus - small stalls setup provided a variety of souvenirs at very reasonable prices. Stayed for 1.5hrs. Would go again, probably in a bigger group.

Definitely worth the quick drive out, but be prepared for a bit of off-roading. We went early in the day to avoid the crowds and heat. You get to relax in the beautifully tranquil foothills. Given our early start, we basically had a private spa session. It was lovely to float in the pools heated by the hot springs while taking in the magnificent setting. Each party is assigned a guide who helps you with pictures and shepherds you through the progression of pools. Ours was Matai and he was amazing!

This was fun! I applied the mud in a thin layer with my hands, and the help of the staff.
I was glad I wore a Speedo, so I could cover my legs. As the mud hardens, you can feel the effect to exfoliate and smooth your skin. After it hardens, you rinse in a small pond of warmed by the hot spring. I definitely recommend going to this if you are in Fiji.

not worth the money. over priced and water isn’t hygenic as they don’t replace often. if you need proper bath or shower, maybe it’s ok

Fun and relaxing day slathering mud on ourselves and bathing in warm/ hot thermal pools.
Big shout out to our extra special guide Millie. She was fun, friendly and attentive, and helped to find my lost phone. She and her team located and retrieved it for me - through their extensive family and local contacts. She really cared about sorting this problem out for me. Wonderful experience 😊

The stated price on the website was less than the actual price as you go in, however the lady did agree to the website price. The area is clean and well maintained, however, I expected to be going into a mud pond rather than just use mud in a bucket which is collected earlier in the day.
There is a person who follows you around while you are in the hot spring baths, then directs you out of them after only a few minutes, all except one bath which you can stay in longer. The experience was very rushed, overrated, and disappointing.
I would suggest people talk to the locals to find a more natural mud bath.

If you want a proper mud bath and or massage experience this is not the place. It is not relaxing you are moved from station to station like a production line almost forced into staged photos and in midday heat the concrete is unbearably hot to walk on bare foot.

Went yesterday with our kids right after our long flight from Los Angeles. Was a bit worried as our guide book said this was closed on Sundays. Luckily this wasn’t the case and even thought we arrived at 7:15am and thought we’d have to wait a few hours for opening they were amazing enough to let us in and get soaking. Our 3 year old was afraid of the mud but the 7 year old slapped it on and both kids loved hopping into the different warm pools to get clean and splash around. Great experience and highly recommend. So accommodating and friendly and can’t say thank you enough for the memories.

The most amazing unique experience! A local takes each tour group around ensuring everyone has the best experience.
Also, highly recommend getting the massage add on and having the local lunch whilst you’re there - best cooked fish I’ve had.

I am not sure of the opening time but when we got there somewhere around midday there was no there..
We had the spring to ourselves also the massage hut.
Not long after a few others came along
can I only go to hotsprings pool only?
and is there any swimwear to buy as I haven't got any...

I don't see why you couldn't just pay and go straight into the hot spring? The reception sells bottles of water only no shops around for swimwear. I'd wear an old t-shirt and shorts 😊

You can drive there, although the road isn't great. Don't know if they are open on Easter.

My husband and I will be travelling with our 4 year old and 1 year old. Is there an age restriction for the baths?
