Great day! We arrived about 11:00 and got two tickets to the mud pool and hot springs @ $F30 each, and an hour massage for me ($F70). Vern mudded, I did not. We both thoroughly enjoyed the Thermal pool 2. Under 90 degrees F. The source pool is 70 degrees Centigrade! Vern moved through the two mud pools after baking dry in the sun. I enjoyed about 20 minutes in the pool before my massage. Great plan! Totally glad we went.

Our local guide took us to Tifajek Mud Pools and Hot Springs which is right next to the Sabeto one. They appear to be same thing and same priced - just run by different villages.
We enjoyed hearing the history, putting the mud on, letting it dry, then visiting 3 more spring pools after that. The change rooms are basic and showers coldish to rinse off any mud still under your bathers :)
We didn't try the optional massage. There's also a small trinket stall onsite. The road is not well signposted I'm and unsealed, so our driver asked locals along the way :)

Didn’t really want to go as I’m not generally a water person BUT I had the best time. Mud in my hair over my face and body. Our tour guide was awesome and the grandson of the land’s original owner. He filled us in on the full history of the site and explained how this feeds the village behind it. Then the three spa washing process was awesome. This was topped off by the girls who thought getting a massage was the way to go.

This was an absolute highlight of our trip to Fiji, and we did many day trips and activities. This place feels like heaven. Beautiful friendly staff, mud made my skin feel so soft, and relaxing in the hot springs with the view of the gorgeous mountains behind you was just divine. The massage after was probably the best we’ve ever had. Peter our host was so friendly and keen to share his families history and his love of his home. Family run and very reasonably priced. Bring cash for some well price souvenirs. Top of my list for things to do in Nadi.

The sabeto mudpool has been my go to place for a weekend of relaxation and just a mini getaway as a local. Visiting the Tifajek one for the first time was another experience on its own, bigger than the first mudpool spot that I frequent. A must do for anyone and as a local adventuerer appreciating some of Fiji's finest tourist attarction spots! Affordable entry fee when you travel on a budget.

Our trip to Tifajek was our first guided tour of Fiji. Our guides Aliti (Yadra Fiji Travels) and Liga were funny, friendly and a wealth of knowledge and information. We were well prepared for what to expect, particularly around local custom and what would be occurring for the Kava ceremony and the lovo. We met the boys cooking the lovo, and walked around the village before joining the Chief for a beautiful welcome and kava ceremony, where a beautiful blind man wove us a basket. This was followed by a mud bath and a relaxing soak in the hot springs, before an even more relaxing massage and the most delicious lunch - the palusami was incredible. We ended our trip with a farewell song and some photos and ordered some beautiful art from the talented Liga.
Bula Vinaka for such an informative and interesting tour! We will be back!

They mud bath and hot spring was delightful and refreshing! The young man who helped us was amazing! He was so knowledgeable and he helped us record the experience on our phone with great pictures! The letters in the title of this business are the first letters of family members. A great family business.

Had a great visit here. Staff were awesome and so very helpful. Took lots of pictures for us since we were covered in mud! It was so soothing on the skin and really nice to soak our muscles. Hubby had massive sand flea bites (they REALLY liked him). The mud soothed it quite a bit. Our private tour guide took us here opposed to the location next door. Said it was nicer mud and better but didn't go next door to see? Trusted the locals opinion. Was pretty fun slathering and then waddling around in the mud lagoon after.

While it is technically a “tour package” it was very special - not a tour bus of 40 people, just the four of us. We were honored to have been welcomed into their village, to have shared stories with them, to been allowed a glimpse into their life and lifestyle, to have been fed and pampered by them, and to have had our catalogue of life experiences increased by the addition of a very unique Fijian chapter. And we supported the local economy, not a large commercial tour company.

Have now been to both mud pool and hot spring options in Fiji and I prefer this one.
Seems a bit more rustic and authentic but friendlier and our personal guide was lovely.
Also enjoyed the mud and pools more here too… a really different and fun experience and well worthwhile
