We've been going to bed rather early since we've been here, but not last night. Our neighbors at the resort mentioned that they were going on the Rehab Party Bus tour and invited us to go. We hadn't made previous reservations, but we reached out to the owners and ended up getting last-minute "seats." Well, as soon as the bus picked us up, it was rocking!!!
We received the rules of the road and off we went. Did I say the bus was rocking? It was, all the way through 3 bar stops with last being Rehab. It was definitely a fun night out mixing and mingling with both locals and tourists alike. Highly recommend this tour. You will not regret it. The cost was $50 NZD/person (approx. $30 USD).

The Rehab party bus in Rarotonga provided us with an Island style party vibe. It was such a great way to mix with the locals and tourists and make new friends along the way. The party bus was lead by our fun loving Aunty and Captain Magnet, who made us feel so warmly welcomed and safe. The music was fun and catchy and catered to all age groups and genres. We wish to send our heartfelt thanks to Aunty who particularly acknowledged my birthday, and looked out for me throughout the entire night. There was such a great atmosphere at the 3 Bars/Clubs we visited and felt so safe at each location, and everyone had one thing on their mind…. to have a great time!!! We highly recommend this experience, especially if you are looking for a carefree, fun night out with good vibes only!! We did not want the night to end, but look forward to returning in the near future. Much Love, Cat and Family.

After big day we were going to flag the party bus. So glad we didn’t!!! Absolute cracker night! Good comms leading up to pickup. Storm was music master on the bus (read the crowd well) and from pickup the vibe was awesome. Three pubs, the last being ReHab where the great atmosphere continued. No agro, just everyone there out to have a good time.
Highly recommend.

Best time ever on the Raro Regab Party bus enjoyed from the moment I got on until I left. The best music, mean dancing in the truck n meet so many great people who looked after each other. Such a very fun night with so many laughs. Aunty was so funny on the bus. Highly recommend for all.

What a fantastic experience! There were 8 of us, and we all had a blast. We were picked up on time. The hosts were very clear about rules and expectations while on the bus but were also so much fun! We enjoyed the two local bars we stopped out, enough time for two drinks (may have to skull the 2nd).The last stop was Rehab. Awesome vibes, music, staff!

Easy to book online, easy to be picked up, easy to have a good time. However, we were at the first bar for 10 minutes and then stayed at the LAST stop (Rehab). I get that it is a 'Rehab' pub crawl but just because they had a special act, doesn't mean everyone on the tour wanted to be there the entire time. I complained and was told we would get back on the bus to continue the tour... and we walked to another bar behind Rehab. Again we were only there for 10 minutes. So basically, I paid for an expensive taxi to take me to 2 bars for 10 min and 1 club from 9:30 until 2am & got home at 3am. Not impressed and felt it was a night wasted in Raro.

Not value for money, 1 hour on the bus before we got to the first bar, only went to 2 bars - then we finished at Rehab which is a third bar. Disappointed that they had only 2 cocktails at Rehab and I was told that they have more cocktails on busy nights? We pay the same money as you would any other night so we should be getting the same choices as a busy night. The other 2 bars had their full cocktail menus. Hostess was brilliant and kept the group on point, but at the end of the day we did not get value for money. I could have paid a taxi and visited more bars. Not a pub crawl as advertised. They could have had water in the truck.

Very loud, aimed squarely at the 18 to 25 year age group. Quite short stops at various pubs on the way to Rehab, most stops just enough to slam 1 drink. Some guests clearly loaded before getting on the open air truck which, while amusing initially, just got painful the further into the trip. A must do if you're in the above mentioned aged group with friends. Anyone else, give it a miss.

Booked this for a group of 7 . Pick up was on time .Stopped at 3 bars enough for 1 drink. Last stop was The Rehab bar were we spent the rest of the night. Right at n midnight the bus loaded everyone back on and started the drop offs . Was very disappointed at the end as I think the event Bus organisers might have had few drinks themselves through the night and when we went to get off at our stop they Asked people to “get the F*** of their bus , and continue to yell foul language at people getting off in an aggressive manner ( our group only has few drinks the entire night ) so we were all sober ) and I didn’t think it was necessary or appropriate behaviour.

Booked the Rehab Party Bus which was loads of fun! Picked us up outside our accommodation in a open air bus with lights and music, then went to 4 bars/night clubs. Loads of fun and after a few drinks everyone starts to mingle a bit more. At midnight we left and got dropped back off. Cheers for a fun night!

Morning - to past visitors - Has anyone done both booze tours - Going Troppo and the Rehab Bus Tour? What are the differences & what would you recommend ? Thanks, Andrea

I don't know what the difference is but we did go to Rehab. Went to about 5 pubs and cost $30 with a drink + food included at the first stop

Kia Orana from Sydney. Im Nga and I will be visiting Raro for 2 month and Im thinking of doing some Security work on the Island. I just dont like hanging around doing nothing at all. I work in so many Night Clubs in Sydney,the like of King Cross, Oxford Street and sorounding Sydney. Have been in the Games for 12 Years and also volunteed to run the Security for all Cook Islands Fucntions. Currently working at Telstra Global Senior Security Operations and Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Maybe I can give the Team some Security Adivised on how to be the Best Growd Controll and who let in and when is time to ask someone to leave.
