The 5 day walk allows you to enjoy the walk. The shorter walks are full days of heavy hiking from dawn to dusk, unless you are very fit.

I'm not too sure about the specifics of the Rainbow Mountains tour. But when we did the Ancascocha Trail the pick up was early, like around 5am.
