Apparently a new concept of the people behind LeeKaJia at Mandarin Gallery. Very compact. Dark and caustrophobic unless one loves being surrounded by potted plants. Small spaces for barber, nails and hair cut. Tried their cold pressed juice. Had better.

Another mall developed by the Far East group, but very different from the others (Lucky Plaza, FE Plaza, FE shopping centre) - this one has more class! It is designed by Singapore-based, world-famous DP Architects, and has many distinctive features: high ceilings, lots of artworks...More

The mall has been designed as upmarket shopping centre in mind with nice decor and super tall lifts serving various floors. Floor to floor height is extreme. It's good, perhaps but inconvenient for human traffic as you have to spend a long time to reach...More

One of the questions posed as I was filing this review referred to (I'm paraphrasing) whether this mall provided visitors with a sense of local culture. Well, yes and no: no, it's its authentic local culture one is looking for; and yet, yes because shopping...More

As a shopping mall, it's not too different from other shopping malls --- mostly just common chains / brands you can see in shopping malls in other cities.

This place is great for lifestyle shopping. Sports brands, nice cafes, variety of modern restaurants and young fashion clothing’s. A couple of nice Japanese restaurants in the upper floors. Convenient to get arriving at Somerset MRT station.

Orchard Central has many impressive features, but, they take away from any focus on the shops. It's almost like visiting an Arts Gallery, of, which has some shops too ? Anyway, worth the explore
