Sun Yat Sen Mausoleum. Take Metro line 2 to Muxuyuan and follow the signs. You can take a road train to the entrance or, as I did, walk up. About 40 minutes, gentle up hill on a board walk, following the clear signs though a...More

Sun Yatsen Mausoleum is situated at ZhongShan Ling (contrary to what I thought, the ZhongShan meant "Clock Mountain" rather than the honorific name of the Dr) and it is recommended that you drive there, else be prepared to walk up the winding roads or take...More

I would not go out of my way to see this place but if you are on purple mountain it is a nice place to climb to the top for a good view of Nanjing.

Climbed three times so far . Love it . Lots of steps but it is one of the tourist spot not to miss in Nanjing . On a clear day the view is simply majestic

It's a long walk up a lot of stairs to reach the mausoleum. But it's very much worth it. The mausoleum itself is a beautiful tribute to the man, and the views from the site are really great. Very much recommend.

there isnt a lot of great things to see or recommend in nanjing, its a bit of a ghost city for the most part, but the sun yatsen mausoleum and the area around it is a go to place.
