Call me ignorant, but I never heard of the Meiling Palace before coming to Nanjing. I went in with a sense of skepticism (Is this yet another boring museum?) but left inspired by this lady who helped shape modern China. There are many exhibits describing...More

It was included in the tickets we purchase, so we paid a short visit of the place. The exhibit is average, but with detailed description of Madame Chang Kai Shiek’s incredible life. The second floor has a mini theater and a cafe, along with display...More

We liked it as it shows how chinas first couple at the end of the first half in the last century lived and also shows pictures and history of Mai Ling the glamorous wife of Chang Kai Shek.

For tourists, there...More

I found the location a little bit difficult for an English speaking person because of the little information that was in English. The palace itself is pretty impressive and was a nice glimpse into what living at this level used to be like. It certainly...More

Touring the Meiling Palace was a memorable experience. The building itself is a great testimony to architects who combined features of both Chinese and Western architecture. The exhibits inside provide an excellent tribute to a lady who did much to help China during her lifetime,...More
