This museum is based upon the Japanese invasion of Nanjing, the then capital of China in 1937. An extremely tragic moment for the Nanjing people and China’s recent history with amazing historical detail and visuals which makes it a very moving and terribly sad experience....More

A definite must-see when in Nanjing - there's no entry fee. I don't speak Mandarin and didn't have a guide but everything was very clear. Such a cruel event and so good to see the positive and future-forward messaging.

the great museum that was well organized and comprehensive presentation. copy the quote from John Rabe "Forgivable, but unforgettable" past experience if not forgotten, serving as a guide for the future.
