Jiming temple is a must go if you visit Nanjing. Very beautiful architectures and I was really just enjoyed the amazing vibes there despite the crazy hot weather. There is a 10rmb entrance fee per person, which includes three incense for each individuals. I definitely...More

I especially enjoyed lunch at the vegetarian cafe in the temple. The premises were well kept and lots of opportunities for pictures. I liked its central location in Nanjing.

No matter what your beliefs, this is well worth a visit. Lots of stairs so it’s not great for those who find steps difficult.

While it is an attraction with a low ticket price of 10rmb (sometimes 15rmb) it is still a real temple with monks and Buddhists praying there every day. I'd avoid bothering them. It is soothing to listen to their chants and they are very friendly....More

This temple is amazing. The path of stairs that take you from bottom to the top is great. At each stop you can take some great pictures and enjoy the scenery. Also, at the entrance you get scented sticks which can be lighted up.

We visited on new years day when it was crazy busy! So it was hard to experience the atmosphere, but still a beautiful place. Reasonable entry fee with incense sticks... never found the restaurant but perhaps it was closed due to the time of year?
