Got off the mini bus at Pak Tam Chung and walked it to the East Dam. We stopped frequently to rest and hydrate. Kids tire easily. Gotta to admire the civil engineering - very peaceful and serene.

Came here on a school trip and was very impressed with the views over the hills and islands/peninsulas. All very scenic. Also, the rock formations are interesting, especially as they adorn as they do on

The East Dam / Sai Kung region should be much higher up the list than it actually is. Although it can be a bit tricky to get to. The views are completely worth it.
