Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

TST East - east of the station and along Mody Road - there are some interesting shops and malls and places for tourists. A bit neglected. It is still crowded but not so overpriced it seems.
Also useful for access to the harboutr walk - there are some quiet sections of the harbour which are relatively free of tourists still with a nice view of the island.
Big choice of hotels in Mody road, and footbridges across to the harbour walk. Shops for just about anything you want to buy. Even the moneychangers seem to have good rates. Plus a bit of seedy nightlife if you want it after dark.
Keep it a secret.....

Tsim Sha Tsui East is one of the best places in town to just have a walk around. It overlooks the sea and has a nice view.

You can see cosmetic and shoe shops almost in every corner. Sasa, mannings, 7-eleven, noodle shops and a lot more. Enjoy your time!

Very busy area with plenty of shops and colourful lighting displays. Central area gives good access to adjacent attractions. However I prefer to walk everywhere wherever possible.

The TST East section of town is a mish-mash of watch shops, street corner restaurants, and high-end shopping.

Crowds of people, shops galore, with bars, cafes, small street food shops - which always have queues - give them a try. A great vibrant part of Hong Kong to wander through.

Nice place to visit with easy access. You can go there either to have a drink or to go shopping in the multiple malls or shops. Of course, overcrowded but not so difficult to find a way.

We were staying in TST East and it was a perfect location.
Has its own MTR (which you can literally walk to the main TST station from), shops, restaurants, mall after mall, would definitely recommend. You are also in the perfect location to see the amazing HK skyline views day or night. Definitely recommend this place for everything.

Certainly you can walk or run around, though may not be a really straight and long distance. There are also many big and small restaurants, cheap or expensive, providing different tastes for you to choose.

Hi I didn't have any diner on the boat. The only thing I suggest is to visit as many islands as you can because they are all very different.

Hi There! I'm planning my holiday to Hong Kong in the month of September around last week. I have read about the reviews and found this hotel a nice deal! Can any one help me if I do a booking at the Kowloon bay or Hong Kong Island side? I prefer a hotel stay with nice serene and skyline view along with excellent connectivity to get around the tourist places.
I'm planning for a 3 night stay.
Hope to hear from you and 'm able to make a right choice.
Thanks
Ashish

(1) age of kids?
Is this trip for the kids , eg Disneyland, Ocean park,
(2) for family(could be strenuous)the golden Budda.
Visit the Science technology museum..
Harbour cruise at nite( meal included, and watch the
(3) the light show .
(4) get lost in Harbour city whilst shopping
(5) take the cable car to the Peak and view from the highest view.
Hotel, stay on the main drag, in the busy parts of the city, as transport to and from the attractions is readily available and not too expensive.
Get a TOURIST PASS for all, it is easier to use and convenient
Hope this is of some help for you.
