I always wanted to see Olympic Stadiums. This one was my 1st one, I see. There was no event inside, when we get there. But, we walked around and have some nice photos. It is big place to walk around.

Simply put there isn't much actually around the Olympic park but if you have a nice sunny day then head to the stadium and go to the top. Only costs around 100RMB (10 pounds). Absolutely awesome.

I would recommend going here after sunset to see the birds nest and water cube lit up. But be aware they turn the lights off at 9:30p so don’t go too late! Easy to get to by subway and free to get in!

This 2008 Olympic Park is immense! We only had a very short time there, so we were only able to walk along the massive walkway and grab a drink or ice cream because of the heat. However, if you have the time, it looked like...More

We went to the Olympic park twice - once during the day and again at night. It was stunning at night and to see all the locals come out and use the space for dancing, rollerblading walking around, was delightful. The lights at night changed...More

We'd come here to see the iconic birds nest from the outside but when we got here discovered that there's a roof top walkway across the roof of the stadium (I think it cost 150 RMB each from memory). once through the barriers it's badly...More

Caught a taxi from my hotel to Olympic Park. Very easy to get to once you make the destination known. Paid RMB 110 for the access to the roof tour of the Olympic Stadium which was worth it. Unfortunately I was under the impression from...More

Beside Tiamen square, the old city and the summer place a walk in the roof of the birds nest is one of the best things you can do. Great view, great architecture

The air quality should be ok. I wouldn't bother with the tour. Just pay at the entrance and you can make your own way up to the roof. There might not be a lot to see though.

There was 1 shop close to the metro stop. They were showing a video of the olympics. We watched this to see how the sited looked at the time of the games but no idea what else they were selling.
