It has a great combination of being clean modern place but yet traditional whith many shops , cafes and restaurants that meets all tastes , plan to visit after lama temple as its just few minutes walking from there .

Hutong means old traditional houses and narrow alleys. Like other hutongs, you can walk through, see how the old houses look like, see small shops and people in small narrow streets. Avoid main streets and go inside. Walk two or three blocks through hutong neighborhood....More

Many places to eat here. He, Veggie Table, Argo, and many other places. Really good feel and worth checking out. Also very close to 2 subway stations. Line 2 Andingmen and line 5 lama temple.

This alley is small compared to Nanluoguxiang. There are more cafes/restaurants compared to stores selling stuff. Some very interesting shops and cafes. Had a coffee at a very nice tiny cafe called Barista Cafe. Good coffee and obviously run by people who takes their trade...More
