The area
Address
Neighbourhood: Myeongdong
Arguably Seoul’s most famous neighbourhood and undoubtedly one of its most popular, Myeongdong takes shopping and eating to new heights, with hundreds of shops, restaurants, and cafes all stacked on top of one another. The rise in popularity of Korean cosmetics, fashion, and more has made this area a must-see for visitors who come and marvel at Myeongdong’s often frenetic pace and energy. Lotte and Shinsaegae’s massive department stores are also popular draws for both Korean and luxury products. The department stores, just like Myeongdong’s streets, are crowded around the clock. Myeongdong’s many street food carts are also immensely popular for their inexpensive and quirky offerings (French-fry-encrusted corn dogs, anyone?). The neighbourhood’s popularity, as well as its close proximity to other popular sights and neighbourhoods, makes it one of Seoul’s most popular places to stay.

Excellent night for the whole family regardless of native language!
This show has it all. These actors are incredibly talented and well rounded. The show is based on a group of chefs cooking experience. These actors can do it all whether its synchromizing drum beats, dancing, singing, simulated “fighting,” audience participation, knife skills, and lots of laughs. It's family friendly and you don't have to speak Korean to enjoy it and follow along. My cheeks hurt from smiling and laughing the entire time. Im so glad I participated in this show. It's a must see if you have the time. Well worth it!

    Wonderful country and culture
The food is unbelievably great. Try all the popular dishes of the country. Better than the restaurants at home. Come with an empty suitcase and buy a wardrobe. The clothes are fashion forward. Modern designs you can’t find at home at affordable prices. The summer weather is hot & humid. Best months are spring and autumn. The people are very polite and friendly. Kids love the many shops with cute merchandise and themes

    A good time.
I had a great time. It's a jolly little play with slapstick humor and no dialogue. Kid friendly. If you are looking for a play like le miserable, then go to Broadway. The actors where phenomenal artists. Acting, acrobatics and playing music.

    Amazing time! Two thumbs up.
A great wholesome entertainment for the whole family. Good balance of comedy and acrobatic performances blend into a simple storyline. The best part about the whole show is that there is plenty of spectators participation. The performers are simply fantastic, so filled with energy that it’s infectious. They are able to engage the crowd and encourage ‘volunteers’ to become part of the show. Tickets are available at on-site box office. So if ever gets tired of shopping or the crowd along Myeongdong shopping street, this would be a refreshing change.

Impressive and fun show for any age
Such a fun family show, we all laughed and had a great time. The actors are so talented and impressive. The website showed all tickets sold out for the day we had wanted to go, so I decided to just walk to the box office and they had plenty of good tickets available. Definitely sit on the main floor for more interactive possibility

Enjoyable show for the entire family!
Enjoyable and fun evening for the whole family. My kids were laughing throughout and they thoroughly enjoyed it! There is no need to know Korean as the comedy is in the actions and situational comedy. Enjoyable musical performance from an energetic and engaging cast! Very worth the trip. Do consider going for an evening show at Myeongdong, and have visit of the night market after the show.

    Wonderful!
Amazingly impressive that they could keep my 1 year old totally mesmerised the entire 1hr 40, my 5 year old giggling and engaged the whole way through, my 13 year old happy, my 15 year old in fits of laughter and very impressed (and he got called up on stage!), and me and my husband laughing and thoroughly enjoying it all the way through. It didn’t drag at all and was so engaging. Really worth paying more to get seats near the front.

After the opening of the show which began with a slow performance, things got interesting when the cast started cooking. It was hilarious at some parts but the actions were repetitive and the chopping/cooking scenes were not exciting. I would not recommend making a special trip to watch the show.

First time to attend a performance in a foreign country, not knowing what to expect. But you don't need to understand Korean in order to appreciate this show. The actors/actress was very professional, talented, and hilarious. Our family had a good 90-minute laugh and blast! Highly recommended for anyone who's in for a good humour :) The crew is to be commended, bravo!

This show sorely needs to be refreshed due to sexist content.

Why is the only female performer in the cast also the only person baring her abs for the whole show?

And during the part when one woman and one man from the audience are chosen to go up on stage, why does it seem like one of the male performers swats the woman on the butt? There was no contact, just a sound effect, as I confirmed after the show with the female audience member chosen to go on stage. But still, why is that necessary?

The kids with me enjoyed this show -- lots of slapstick humor and some magic, too. The performers were excellent. But please, please update Nanta!
