The garden is listed in the Vila Tourist Brochure as open on Saturday 8-4 but on arrival the operation was closed and when we rang the telephone # it was disconnected. Perhaps it has been closed permanently

I loved this place, our tour guide was very informative about the plants, their medicinal properties etc. Seeing how Vanilla grows and how they extract the essential oil from Sandalwood was so cool, hence I had to buy both.

Great to see locals in their traditional costumes. Eco lodges being built in the cool forest are very cute and funky. Great variety in the nursery. Had a huge ice cream from the shop.

usually drive past but stopped and checked it out last week. Was amazed with the different plant species, especially my favorite betel nut! The pool is amazing and the gardens contain historical information as well.

Hidden away, but worth finding. The owners said they are hoping to start a café etc on the premises. You can buy beautiful cut flowers.
