This was one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I have visited. The dress code is strict but Abyas are provided free. There are huge car parks and it is easy to locate the Mosque using google maps or satnav. There is a coffee...More

Huge and beautiful mosque. Rug ways 35 tons, carried and placed by helicopters. Chandeliers made of solid gold costing 10 million each. Beautiful enamel tile works.

Went at sundown, per my flight attendants tip, and had a lovely time. It is truly a magical place and I loved the call to prayers. Stayed here for a few hours and felt completely comfortable being a female alone. The architecture and details are...More

Stunning building to spend 1-2 hours exploring, there is no fee for entry. Best to go around 3;30pm onwards as the temperatures are much lower

Along with everyone else I thought the mosque was beautiful and well worth seeing. Be prepared to cover up even if you believe you are properly covered. They provide tunics for this which can be hot, but the mosque is worth it.

This mosque is absolutely beautiful and we were so happy that we invested our time to visit it. It looks also very stunning at night time when it is light up nicely.

Open to all types of people, the Grand Mosque flabbergasts everyone. A fabulous marble structure. Apart from the main prayer halls, there is a specific area which explains the entire construction and development of the mosque. The ablution area is located downstairs, which you can...More
