I liked the tour and the variety of foods a lot.
While the tour price wasn't exactly cheap (which is fine), I was a bit dissappointed that we went into four shops, where we were offered to buy some products. There was no pressure, but...More

Thank you for your feedback. We're very disappointed to read you felt awkward but also confused as to which 4 shops you mean? We visit two places for tastings and discussions which happen to be shops; one which is the mouneh room where we spend...More
The food was superb - loved going to places we would've never otherwise found. Guide Bethany is from Beirtut and so informed on the history of the city. Really appreciated the mix of history and cultural info mixed in with the foodie goodness.
Iffat Saadeh is an extraordinary Foodie, we were swept up by her passion for authentic local Lebanese food. The range of ingredients, aromas, tastes and fresh ingredients, will keep us coming back for more. We were enthralled by Iffat’s passion for Beirut, it’s people, architecture...More
Our excellent guide Iffat took us from Beirut to Tripoli for a fascinating food tour of the northern city. It was a great contrast to Beirut. Iffat was friendly, well organised and informative. The best aspect of the tour was that we felt it became...More
We joined Iffat our guide for the Beirut Bites tour on our second day of our holiday in Beirut. She took us from one side of the city to the other sampling a great variety of food that Lebanon has to offer. Iffat was so...More
We thoroughly enjoyed our Beirut Bites tour even though it was shortened to half a day.
Iffat Saadeh was an excellent guide, the best we had in Beirut. We not only sampled great Lebanese food at restaurants and bakeries off the beaten track but also...More
Great tour. Iffat was our guide and she’s brilliant, articulate, educated, and willing to share her insights. This is a first class food tour featuring delicious food, an insightful conversation, and answers to all of our (probably too many) questions.

The Beirut Bites food tour ended up being one of my favourite experiences during my stay in Beirut. Iffat, our guide, was exceptional. In addition to answering every question I had about the food we tasted, she was extremely knowledgeable regarding the history of the...More

Many thanks to the Taste Lebanon team for organising our tour so quickly. Our guide Eli was excellent and made us feel very at home in his city. He adjusted the tour to suit our tastes, was great company and fed us not only with...More

Beirut Bites is a unique opportunity to get to grips with Lebanese food at it’s most raw (sometimes quite literally), avoiding places where tourists abound and, instead, taking you to places that only locals frequent. On this charming meander through the city, you’ll experience a variety of foods, from traditional mezze platters, Armenian bistros, to offal sandwiches (testicle kebabs anyone?), with plenty of options for the vegetarian as well!
Starting with a typical Lebanese breakfast at nine in the morning and ending at roughly six in the evening with happy hour drinks in one of Beirut’s most charming and personable pubs, these one day tours show guests a side to Beirut far from the guidebooks.Throughout the day, we will give you a taste of what you can expect from the true Beiruti cuisine, its eclectic history rendering it one of the most diverse in the region. We will show you a vast selection of our favourite places, meticulously searched by people who know the city inside out, while also guiding you through this most mesmerising metropolis.
From explaining how to navigate just like the locals, without being ripped off by dastardly taxi drivers, or pointing out the beauty of the city’s art deco architecture, while discussing the ancient culture heritage of Beirut, this boutique tour is about so much more than just the food!
