no doubt this is one of the biggest mosques in IRAN . unfortunately visiting inside is not permitted ( this is too strange , based on our -muslims belief mosque belong to GOD and all are welcomed to enter the mosques ) . too beautiful...More

It seemed to be nice, the architecture was quite different but the responsible guys there did not allow as( as women) to go inside! They said it has no visit and it is a building for islamic studies and even if we as women wanted...More

This is a mosque and Islamic school so the last time i saw that just Muslim people allowed to enter,but you can take photos from outside because its Islamic Architecture is great!

It is a huge building with adjacent seminary. If you enter through the main gate on Mostafa Khoneyni street near Baharestan square the first thing that struck me was you can wipe your feet either on an Israeli or on an American flag. It perhaps...More

Sepahsalar Mosque in mohammad reza shah era was very important and with historical images,but at now owing next to parliament,this mosque is closed and only in praying time for a few minutes is open.this mosque due to its architecture and color of tiles is unique...More

The tile work in this mosque is quite amazingly fantastic. The dome is of special interest, it a pity you cannot just lie down in the middle of the floor to properly gaze up at it. Well maybe you could, but.. Don't miss visiting this...More

its a big mosque with 150 years old. you can enjoy Iranian tile art here. take your camera and save lots of background tile stories.
