If you are planning to visit Madaba, then this place should be on your list. With an entrance fees of JOD 2.0, you'll have the opportunity to explore the history of Jordan through incarnates made from wax. This place is recommended for kids as well.
I'd been to Mt Nebo several times but this is the first time I visited La Storia and I really enjoyed it. It's no Madame Tussauds but what I really liked was the effort put into recreating the Ottoman-era street and the authentic costumes. And...More
This is a museum of Biblical history ranging from Old Testament to the times of Christ. There is also a cultural display of early Arab history anx the Bedouins. The displays are lifelike and the mannequins are motorised so you can see bakers and butchers...More
The reception at our hotel in Madaba told us about this museum, he said the kids would love it! So after a long day visiting Karak and Mt Nebo, we decided to give it a try - I was worries after a busy day the...More
The 'museum' really isn't one. There are scenes from history poorly recreated. It was a complete disappointment. The real goal of this location is to show you hand crafted items in their shops. These were lovely but overpriced and poorly packaged for shipping internationally.
Small wax-type Museum highlighting Jordan history and culture along with religious displays. Once you are done taking the short tour and walk through, there is a gift shop with some cool mosaic artwork. Be sure to bargain a lot as they pay the tour operators...More
It is worth a visit. A quick overview of the history of humanity, which summarizes very well how many things happened nearby. The author is a genius. Soon the largest mosaic in the world will be displayed thanks to him. Mabruk.
Having lunch at the second floor of the La Storia Tourism Complex! The Manager is very friendly and the staffs provides a very good service! Last but not least, the Arabic Cuisine is Finger-licking Good!
I strongly recommend stopping at La Storia and see the museum. It's the story of Jordan's heritage. The restaurant on the second floor is one of the best in the area and you will enjoy the food and people.
