Compared to other place in Madaba, you won't be alone here. All the tour groups come here, as this is where, according to some people, Moses first saw the Promised Land. There is a great view of the Dead Sea and, inside the church, a...More

Interesting that this is the supposed spot where Moses was shown the promised land. The location is great...the view is incredible. The church on the spot makes for a nice place of reflection.

While I can’t confess to being overly religious I was moved by our visit to Mt Nebo. The view, the churches, mosaics and the museum of artefacts from the time are amazing. On our visit there was a group of foreign pilgrims celebrating in the...More

Just to think I was atop where Moses stayed to see all that God had said. The view was awesome, vast lands that bring up memories of history. Ensure you have flat shoes please.

Worth a stop if it’s on your road. Otherwise, wouldn’t drive 1 hour from Amman to see this... You have to pay 2JD to enter. Not included in the Jordan Pass. Mount Nebo is at 820 metres high, it looks down 1220 metres on the...More

It looks like some artificial sightseeing: a mountain with a cross and nothing more. In a good weather you can enjoy a good view on Jordan and a little bit of Israel. I think it is not worth it to come here for itself, but...More

We came here and really didn't have an interest. Once here it was actually pretty neat and pretty. The views from the top are nice (we did have a bit of a cloudy day) Inside the building is beautiful. Nice to spend some time in...More

I don't think the Jordanians will let an Israeli guide come over as they get along but don't really like each other. I have never been to Israel but I have heard that border crossings can take up to 3 hours each way, so plan... More
