A very beautiful hilltop castle with great view and historical background. Go on top of the castle if you want to have 360° view.

Another roman fort sight, smaller than the others but worth a stop. Nice to take a picture on the highest point of the ruin. Make sure always to wear the right shoes.

Amazing place, if you could go with a guide is better, to enjoy the local (historical point of view) explanations.

Aijoun was a Muslim Castle set high upon a hill. It’s undergoing extensive restoration work, but it’s fortifications were built like the proverbial Brick SH. This area along with Jeresh was much greener.

excellent remains from the crusader times ,fairly well preserved ,gives a very good insight into how life would have been then and the reason for choosing this site for a castle.

This castle has a remarkable history and provided the visibility is good, gives an outstanding views. When we were there it was rather overrun with schoolchildren. Despite that there is much to see, including a small museum containing beautiful ancient artifacts.
