We visited here with our driver on the way from The airport to Petra. It is really in the middle of nowhere with a commanding view. No need for a guide and a reasonable amount of the fort left to see.

Excellent signage in English, French and Arabic for this vast, well-lit castle. Many fun passages to explore.

Nice place to come to when you are in the area of Amman. Discover the tracks of history. If you want to know more a guide is very helpful

It is an interesting site even though inside there are not a lot of things to see except of course the structure of the castle and its rooms. When we visited there were not a lot of visitors ans so we appreciated the visit more.

A very beautiful hilltop castle with great view and historical background. Go on top of the castle if you want to have 360° view.
