The lions left remaining in the structure are really neat to see, but you cannot actually enter the castle. The story of this building is quite interesting given its age and design, which differs from the Roman and umayyad era structures throughout the remainder of...More

After a rather long drive through the traffic of Amman my friend and I arrived at this rather deserted but absolutely amazing little archaeological gem. The location is lovely. The details on the walls were exquisite. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

A sensational find ! Beautiful, well preserved building in a rustic valley. Some stunning carvings on top and on the sides. Should be on any tourist's list.
