We had already swam in the Dead Sea in our trip to Israel, years ago. Therefore it's been the same experience. The Jordan place was OK but the changing room facilities were always wet, with no maintenance and without a proper service.
The water was chilly but it was fun floating in it after I was fully submerged. that has medicinal qualities. It cost us $60.00 each to enter the beach and approximately $3.00 to use the showers. It did not cost any extra money to sit...More
If you want to see the crystal salt and mud of the Dead Sea in natural environment, you should go to this beach...
We stayed in Amman city centre and it is just a short drive away... there are 5-stars hotels nearby too...

Hello, we only went on a day trip to the public beach and didn't stay in a hotel. However, all the hotels along the coastline looked lovely. I seem to recall that our guide said the Movenpick Hotel was a good standard.
