There's a restaurant serving a buffet, shop, bar serving soft drinks and changing facilities. Then there's the 2 pools and steps down to the beach and sea. The place in general though could do with tidying up. The reception, changing rooms and beach area all...More

A visit to the dead sea is a must if you are in the area, and a resort is a way to try the water. Not impressed, but works.

I went to Israel years ago and heard repeatedly that the Jordanian side was better. There are many over priced hotels along the coast but we stayed in interesting places instead. Only wanting to spend a few hours in the Dead Sea, we went to...More

Toilet and changing rooms are in need of major repairs. Most of the locks aren’t working, and the area is filthy. I would suggest using the room to change and then take your showers outside. We reached at 9.30AM on a weekday and had the...More

Firstly, Amman Beach is a public area just a few thousand meters south of most of the popular hotel chains along the Dead Sea. My wife and I were traveling with our 5-month old (then) son and didn't have plans to stay at the Dead...More

For 15 dinars you get easy access to the Dead Sea from a public 'resort' which offers adequate basic facilities. These include: basic changing rooms, lockers with key (small charge), showers, towel hire (small charge), swimming pools, restaurant, bar and small shop. Steps lead down...More

If you're on a day trip, or you're not into spa treatments, this place is OK. The changing rooms are old fashioned, the "shore-side" showers are 30 metres up the beach (though this is a problem nearly everywhere along the shore), and you need to...More

Terrible maintenance of the dead sea shore and its access. They don’t even care about cleaning plastics and rubbish around. It’s expensive for the service offered, just the pools are taken care off. If you just need a shower after the swim at the dead...More

Hello, we only went on a day trip to the public beach and didn't stay in a hotel. However, all the hotels along the coastline looked lovely. I seem to recall that our guide said the Movenpick Hotel was a good standard.
