The terrain is brown and dusty. There are some cool rock formations. And for part of the hike you look out over the Dead Sea. Our guides were terrific, and were eager to show us the gazelles.

Definitely not to be missed when in Jordan. Expensive entrance fee of 50 dinars per person but worth every penny. Rock formations, carvings straight off rock faces, and even the clouds formations vie for attention!

It was a nice place to visit I would go again. Remember to bring your walking shoes because there is plenty of walking. The weather is chilly so bring a light jacket. The jeep tour was amazing.

We entered from the parking lot across from the Dead Sea. The natural entrance is completely inaccessible now, and we were forced to walk over an unfinished "bridge" over the pipeline, then up a ladder to a platform that has massive holes in it (very...More

The water is very water and relaxing. The water fall was great to see and during the not so dry months would be very impressive I'm sure.

We booked through the Black Iris hotel. The owner recommended the Wadi Zarqa Ma'in independent trip as there is no entry fee like Wadi Majib. We paid 40DN for a return taxi (you may be able to talk this down a bit) and then took...More

it is a very cool place where you are in a nice strait with 15 cm to 1 meter water deep. It is one of the least places in Jordan where you do not need to be equipped (No ropes ..etc.), I would recommend you...More

Pure nature with a lot of history. If you can travel without a group it's even better. Don't travel in the summer ;)

July/August would be hot-peak of summer. I have not been to Mujib so am not in a position to compare the two. Ma'in is free, so that might be the clincher...but you'll have to decide that for yourself.

U don't need GPS. It's easy to find the entry. It's on the jordan Valley hwy. It's on your left side when you go to the south. It's not an official site. If you need GPS coordinates: 31.619137, 35.567489 Enjoy
