About
What sets this spa apart from others is its spectacular desert location, the healthful, low-humidity climate and the benefits derived from the heavy concentration of saline and minerals in the Dead Sea pools.

Just lovely

We were staying at the hotel and quite honestly this is the best bit of the hotel.
I booked an early afternoon treatment and one in the evening. We popped in and out of the spa and facilities all day. The staff were wonderful and my treatments were super. The best hot stone massage ever.

Beautiful spa with great services
Sep 2019
Zara Spa is nestled in the middle of the Movenpick Resort, right on the Dead Sea. Whether you stay at the hotel or just want to use the resort (pools, beach, etc.), this spot is a great option. The series of pools and lounges set a calm, serene atmosphere, and the views are unbeatable. The locker rooms are bit outdated and they didn't have conditioner, but that said, it was still a lovely experience. Janesa gave me one of the best massages of my life, and the staff were all extremely kind and helpful.

Zara spa
I enjoyed a marvelous day spa at Zara. Was very welcoming atmosphere and nice hospitality by Mr. Nizar and Madam Berna. The package that I used was Dead Sea ritual which was amazingly and professional well done by the therapist Mr. Wael. I highly recommend the hotel and the spa for both stay and day use.

Spectacular time as always
Jun 2019 • Friends
I have been traveling with friends visiting from the uk across the country, I insisted to bring them to Zara spa, I am a frequent visitor to the spa, I wanted my friends to enjoy a relaxing time in my favourite spa in Jordan, and they did. They said the spa was one of their favourite spots during the trip. I spoke to the Spa manager Mr.Ayman to plan the visit, what a wonderful and attentive service, Ayman is so efficient, professional, generous and kind, he made my friends’ visit a wonderful one, they left amazed and enjoying Jordanian’s generosity and kindness, not to forget mentioning the amazing Berna, recommended the best choice of treatment to my friend with sensitive skin, Ala’a, Emad, Mohammad and Mohammad. As always, you all make me happy and draw a big smile on my face. Many thanks Zara Spa family

The Best Spa in the Middle East
Jun 2019 • Solo
I alwways had the note that Zara Spa is a unique Place.. and finally today i had the time to try..
During my afternoon visit Today I had a very unique experience in a well maintained Hotel and wellness area

The hydro pool is very nice with an infinite view, very private, cauzy and relaxing terrace,
The steam and sauna was a kind of perfection

But what made me amazed was the perfect welcomingand accommodating Staff with wide friendly smile makes you feel home with the tasty traditional Tea served by Abu fahad, and the smooth service by Rakan, the place was very shiny and clean and i notice the Spa attendant Bader and the passionate team working with very hard to help me everywhere

The essential Spa Oil's with Very wonderful smill and Complimentary Healthy shots in a non-smoking area and well furnished lounge made me feel fresh and relaxed which's can be noticed on my Face after this enjoyable day

My wow experience was during the full body massage by Ms. Anne, as she was doing her job professionally relaxing me very well.

The big thank you and appreciation is for Mr. Ayman Alamat for his flawless and professional operating for such huge and busy venue as i saw☺

Really ... Thank you guys for this unforgettable nice experience of the day
I left you Today while I'm checking my calendar to be back very soon

Spa Facilities & Not Treatments
Dec 2018 • Solo
I was here last December and I have been debating writing a review ever since because the overall rating of TripAdvisor doesn't give you space to express how satisfied you were with some parts of your experience and how very dissatisfied you were with the others. I think my overall rating would be something like 3.5 and here is what happened.

The reason I chose the Movenpick in the first place was the spa. It had so many great reviews online. Magnificent pictures. Breathtaking views. On the pricier end, yes, but you expect it to deliver. I was a bit disappointed during my experience.

I stayed at the resort for 5 days and I planned to go to the spa on the third day of our stay after exploring its facilities a day prior. I tried with all the power I have to force grandpa to come with me, but he did not agree, and I thank God he didn't. I am sure he wouldn't have liked it.

I called from my room to book an appointment for 2 treatments- a salt scrub and an aromatherapy massage. I was told since I will be paying more than JOD 100, I will get to use all the other spa facilities (i.e. the amazing swimming pools) for free.

I was greeted with the best tea ever. The girl at the reception was very professional. I think she was the one who talked to me over the phone. I was given a locker and then I was guided to the females changing room. I was then introduced to the person who did the treatments to me. I thought she was friendly at the beginning but then as time passed by I thought she was too talkative. She started asking questions that were non of her business and towards the very end she rushed me to change my clothes after the massage claiming she had another customer. Her smile soon faded especially when I showed no interest in her questions. Very unprofessional.

I was very very annoyed at that point. Not only did I pay a lot of money for something that was definitely not worth it but I did not get the experience I was hoping for. I hoped then by using the other spa facilities I will actually get to enjoy the beauty of the spot I chose as my holiday destination. And thank God that happened. The hydro-pool is heaven. The views of the Dead Sea are incredible at sunset. The jacuzzi was great too but I spent most of the time at the hydro-pool admiring the mountains while getting massaged by the water in the form of a small whirlpool. See. I could've gotten this experience for JOD 25 only if I just got myself the day-pass. I know I wanted to get pampered but really the standards are not as high as you would expect them to be and if we were comparing like with like- take for instance the Movenpick Bahrain Rimal Spa. The staff are way more professional, minding their own business and focused on delivering and delivering only.

When I left at about 6 p.m. (I was intending to stay till 8) I had already made my mind on talking to the supervisor of the place. The same receptionist asked me about my experience and when I asked about her manager her face changed. When I insisted, I was greeted by this great guy whom listened to all what I had to say (with all the details of the questions which I am not including here in this review). I told him that I chose the resort because of the spa and that I was expecting way more. I also mentioned that this Movenpick of theirs belongs to a famous 5-star chain not to be reckoned with and that I am sure their standards are way higher than what was delivered to me at that day. All I wanted to ensure by doing this is to get them to train their staff such that they are focused on their job and their job only rather than others' lives- a form of constructive criticism if you want. He tried negotiating getting my money back which I refused and then he offered me another treatment with another staff member which I also initially refused. He then swore by His name and I had to accept (an Arab sort of thing).

On the next day, I did the mud wrap with another lady who was, on the contrary of her colleague, very professional. It was really relaxing and I could say it was a good way of apologising. So now I really don't know what to say.

As for me, if I were to ever come back, I would choose to pay JOD 25 and get to enjoy all the great pools. Will I do treatments again? I'd rather do them here in Bahrain.

3 day stay with spa treatments
Hotel was clean, food fantatstic and the staff was friendly and accomodating, and always smiling. Did Petra and Wadi Rum, and relaxing at this resort was exactly what was needed. The 3-day spa journey with its treatments and private pools was more than luxurious but needed. Honestly, a little touch of paradise on earth.
