We love to go to the museum. The kids enjoy the photography, the exhibitions, the new expanded spaces... Two of the five were disappointed that the Youth Wing and the room with the miniature houses were blocked off due to renovations. They had been looking...More

The museum has two sections. The older section has some traditional art by Monet, Chagall, Picasso, etc. plus some more contemporary art and installations. The new section has more contemporary and local art. It’ll take a few hours to see everything but it’s worth it.

A definite go-and-see when in Tel Aviv - laid out by style (impressionism, post - , Modern etc) well lit and sectioned so you can immerse yourself into a particular style. The collection is quality and not quantity but has some key pieces from masters...More

The 40 shekel entrance are super worth it. If you, like me, love art and architecture, you’ll love it. It is huge, so take half a day and stroll on it. You can see all you feel.

Although the new wing is the most architecturally interesting the old part in my view should not be missed. Chagall, Van Gogh etc have works there in addition to many Israeli artists.

There is always something new and up to date. Video art or sculpture, post modern or more conservative, this museum presents a rich experience for art lovers. And it also has a fun kid section with hands on activities. The new wing is especially interesting.

The museum offers different art collections and exhibitions for different tastes, sometimes in the evenings there are cinema shows and music concerts. Great place to spend a hot day.
