Firstly, it is not the easiest entrance to find as it is off the Main Street and down a path, but Waze guided us perfectly. There was a note on the door with a phone number, but we knocked and Oded immediately opened up for...More

A lot can be said about the illegal or legal question of why Jewish Settlers made their way into Gaza. What struck me the most of the visit to this museum was the human suffering for all parties involved. Gush Katif is the story of...More

I spoke with the woman working at the front desk at length. She gave me an introduction to the museum and the history of Gaza in which she made statements that were patently false. She spent about 10 minutes attempting to convince me that during...More

These folks never recovered from being evicted. They loved their lives and homes. This very small collection- rather then museum - shows what the Jews did in these "villages" living along the coast in relative safety. While there were 50 souls -victims of terror- most...More

This small museum located in a repurposed apartment near Machane Yehuda is a treasure of a find. discover the history of Gush Katif and experience the expulsion that took place. We learned a lot and it was quite moving.

Whether you thought about the disengagement or not, this is a place to go. It's a tiny, but powerful place that brings you back to the "orange days". Maybe if more people visit it, less would believe the media lies.

This is a very small museum but very powerful and worth the visit. We were pressed for time and could only stay and hour but you could definitely spend 2 hours here. Some of the people who work here were residents of Gush Katif.

A powerful presentation of Israel's "disengagement" of Israeli communities from Gaza that took place on August 15th, 2005 [under former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's government]. A humble abode located centrally in Jerusalem. It is more of a 'testimony' than a museum. No matter what...More
