We spent a good hour with Mr. Sandrouni in his shop, selecting pieces, getting insights into the significance of the patterns and seeing how the ceramics are made. It was very interesting and we ended up with some extraordinary gifts for the folks back home.

The ceramics at the Sandrouni shop are lovely, and I had a delightful time there, chatting with the owner, George Sandrouni, and the staff. They were helpful and informative without being pushy or overbearing. I am very happy with my purchases and definitely will return!

Beautiful ceramic wares. Dorin was very friendly and gracious, and helped me pick one of a kind item for my wife. No bargaining. The team that controversially introduced red into Armenian ceramics - normally blues, whites. Ceramic plates were 80 USD and higher.

I've been to many shops in many different countries, but in many ways this was the best shopping experience I've ever had. Amid the many touristy, generic shops of the Old City stood a shop with a window display featuring one-of-a-kind, hand-painted bowls, boxes, platters,...More
