This site is awesome with with a beautiful Herodian house wonderfully preserved. The mosaics are particularly enthralling. I would recommend using the audio tour or hiring a guide though

See the homes and other archaeology of the priests of Herodian Jerusalem. There are mosaics, drawings, Mikvahs, baths and other rooms. Also pottery found in the homes.
