We took the self-guided tour as suggested on the website and were amazed at the history, the wonderful exhibition, the building and its history and just absorbing that unique library atmosphere (and the peace and quiet!)

It has one of the largest stained glass windows I've seen with an English and Hebrew explanation. The library is free to use but you must check your bag. The collection of books and magazines is unmatched for its focus on Israel.

Housing all Hebrew literature this is an impressive collection. Throughout the building there are a number of exhibits of the walls with interesting descriptions to add extra ambience. The cafe is also a good place for lunch.
