The second floor is a chance to see some amazing Byzantine mosaics, though none are whole or complete. They are just beautiful and when the Church was at its finest, it must have been a spectacular sight to see.

This is the second floor (part of the AyaSofia) tour, same ticket. Not sure why it is listed separately here. A lot of history and significance. Good for a Rainey day and you can take pictures from there.

Anyone interested in history or art absolutely must see the second floor! The mosaics are awe inspiring. It's also nice to see the museum from a completely different angle.

Lots to see on the second floor and a view of the above and below. Fab view of the Blue Mosque from.one of the windows. Other things to see include the mosaics and Viking graffiti. A must see on your trip to Istanbul.

The second floor refers to the upper gallery in the Hagia Sophia. The gallery offers stunning views of the ground floor and you can get an inkling of the former glory of this church. The remaining mosaics are sublime.
