The views from the roof of the mountain are amazing, although it has been just a little hazy that specific day. The forest itself was stunning, and amazingly clean. A good course at first, with a decision to keep on that route, and carry a...More

Amazing, Bach Ma is a must see, for it's varied and diverse wildlife, spectacular views complete with waterfalls and mountain top vistas. With knowledgeable guides show you the way.

Came to this particular bridge for a brief 2 hour bike ride from Hue. Sadly wasn't the appropriate time for marketplaces, however, provided a look at several more area lives in Vietnam. Was' captured' by the beautiful old fortune teller over the bridge, but did...More

A fantastic old timber covered bridge which is a fantastic spot for meeting the local folks. Situated within the countryside close to Hue, the bridge is adjacent to a tiny market square. The bridge has seating on every side and decorations throughout. After crossing the...More

It is all down hill, with steps on the steep parts. As long as you wear good hiking shoes, it should be no trouble. Re heights, the drive up may be a bit scary, but the walk is fine, only the view over the waterfall at the... More

Hi Travellers! Will be traveling to Vietnam at the end of April and will be in Da Nang for 4 nights. Me and my partner want to go to visit Bach Ma for a daily tour however it appears that the majority of the tour organiser reviewed on TA organise these tours from Hue. Having myself look around, I have found different info. It appears that it is possible to reach the park by bus from Da Nang however the bus just drop the tourists off at the info Center which is about 3 kms from the main entrance. Then to reach the top of the mountain it takes approx 21 kms. Therefore highly recommended to get a transfer to the Hai Van Pass to enjoy the view and maybe walk down till the falls to jump into the refreshing water. Prices are a rip off for food, accommodation and it appears that a transfer from the Info center to the top costs 20-30 USD. My question is: What do you recommend? Where the trials start? I am more than happy to consider your comments and suggestions bear in mind that wherever is the most suitable starting point I can organise eventually a private transfer. Thank you

Would definitely recommend hiring a car and driver from Da Nang, since bicycles and motorbikes aren't allowed in the park, and the park's minibus will only take you to the top and back without any stops/pick-ups on the way... More
